What the service is
LookForAI reads English text and tells you how likely it is that AI wrote it, with a range and the reasons it noticed. It is free and paid for by ads. There are no accounts and no paid tier.
A probability, not proof
Every result is an estimate. It describes how a text reads, not who wrote it. It can be wrong in both directions, and the accuracy page says how often.
No accusation, grade, hiring decision, disciplinary step or any other decision about a person may rest on a LookForAI result alone. If you use a result at all, use it as a reason to look closer and to talk to the person, never as the answer.
No warranty
The service is provided as it is and as available. We make no promise that it is accurate, complete, uninterrupted or fit for any particular purpose.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us, which is nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Acceptable use
You may check any text you have the right to share with us. You may not:
- use the service to probe, test or train ways of getting text past it or past any other detector;
- scrape the checker or send it automated requests, beyond normal use by a person in a browser;
- build, sell or run tools that get around the daily limit, the bot check or any other protection;
- use it to harass anyone, or to publish a result as if it proved who wrote a text.
We may block traffic that breaks these rules.
No accounts, no personal data
There are no accounts, logins or histories. We do not collect personal data beyond what the privacy page describes: the text is scored and discarded, and a salted, hashed count of checks per connection per day holds the free limit.
Your text
Your text stays yours. You give us permission to process it only for as long as it takes to score it and send the result back to you.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. When we do, we change the date below. If you keep using the service after a change, the new terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Bulgaria.
